For all my girly girls that are tomboys at heart pay attention to this one. I really do love to play dress up and feel feminine and sexy at times but most of the time, I am in sneakers and jeans. Check out these fun sneaks from my personal list on Lyst.com
All of these are available on my Lyst! Click Here.
Fashion: The Glendale Galleria is getting a clear full body make over this year. Stores like American Eagle have moved out, new stores are moving in, the place is getting spiffy. Nordstrom will be relocating to The Americana in the fall of this year. Three stories of greatness is expected. The odd space which used to be occupied by Mervyn’s will be transformed into a beautiful Bloomingdales projected by the Glendale Galleria. The Grove is experiencing a mini face lift as well. A bigger Barney’s I heard. Caruso is just going to work isn’t he.
Beauty: Sachauan Oil Treatment is a new product I am using for my dull looking hair. It can be used as a styling boost or a leave-in conditioner. The price tag is tad hefty but a little goes a long way.
Lifestyle: Flywheel Spinning Studios has come to Los Angeles. Arch enemy of Soul Cycle has two new locations in West Hollywood and Larchmont Village. I have attended 2 classes already and can’t get enough. The music is vibin’, the place is spectacular, and the service is off the hook. For starters, Flywheel offers 1 complimentary class, shoes, water, and towels. It is a great 45 minute work out sure to get you sweating. Visit their website at www.flywheelsports.com
Music: Dj Drama- So Many Girls
Random: I can successfully cross of Synergy Organic & Raw drinks off my list. How do people drink this stuff?
Over the past couple weeks, I was lucky enough to style Yerevan Magazine’s fashion feature shoot featuring Los Angeles local designer Sarine Marie. Sarine Marie has been designing since she itty bitty and her line is a fresh take on sophisticated California living. Here are a few unedited pictures from the shoot.
Kitson has opened up a new outlet space at the Camarillo Outlets. If only it was 2008 again.
Beauty: I have done it. The world will have softer hands due to this amazing product from Archipelago Botanicals. I hate hand cream. I hate the way it makes my hands greasy and cannot stand smelling like flowers or chocolate for that matter. The “Soy Creme Milk No/3″ is probably the best hand creme I have used in my life. That is a bold statement readers. It truly keeps your hands moisturized through numerous hand washings and smells delightful. Find it at your local beauty supply store.
Lifestyle: Tomorrow I start my first Fly Wheel Spinning Class. I am not going to lie, I am nervous and excited at the same time. I used to spin for a good year straight but since have fallen off the bandwagon. Fly Wheel Sports is a new swanky spinning studio from New York setting its mark on West Coast Territory. Check them out here.
Music: Drake- Girls Like Beyonce
Random: I tried Coconut Water for the first time. Um, Bad idea. I want my $7.00 back.
Being the second designer collaborating with Kohl’s, Derek Lam has his eyes set on a different target market. His entire collection is inspired by Rio De Janeiro with bold colors, prints, and designs. While most designers usually mimic their higher price lines, Derek Lam took a different venture and his Kohl’s line is quite a departure. The pieces range from $36-$98 and are available online as well at Kohl’s. I think you even get a %25 discount. I really like the pink linen skirt, the black jumper, and the jungle printed dress.
When rompers first became trendy I was so skeptical of them. How would my butt look? Will I be channeling an overgrown baby? I wasn’t sure about it all. The trend luckily for me expanded into many different silhouettes which gave me a lot more options. Now, I love it all!

Beauty: Yesterday I went make-up shopping with my best friend and the topic of dark circles came up. We came to the conclusion while talking to the artist that using a corrector before applying foundation or concealer sets off under eye circles.
Lifestyle: Gwyneth Paltrow set to open her own DRYBAR in Brentwood, California this week! I love my blow-outs but Brentwood is a slight detour. Nonetheless, its there.
Music: Justin Timberlake- Mirrors
Random: I have come to the conclusion that no matter how many coffee shops are on a block, someone is still unsatisfied with the selection. Can’t please them all. Starbucks, Peet’s, Coffee Bean, but no Swork? Le Sigh.
I usually don’t go for hats considering the aftermath of awful hair that comes along with it. Also, once you are wearing a hat, you’re committed. Ain’t nobody got time for that. I am making an exception to the rule with this floral burst of sunshine now available at H&M. It’s girly, its affordable, its perfect.
Fashion: Make sure to visit www.decadesinc.com for their FIRST Online Designer Shoe Sale which starts on Tuesday at 7:30 PM.
Does anyone know of the Club Monaco Sample Sale in LA? Well, now you do. It is happening at ClothingLine in Downtown LA Tuesday the 19th and Wednesday the 20th.
P.S. Halston is starting to open their own brick and mortar locations starting with The Beverly Center in Los Angeles.
Beauty: Since when are blow-outs $55? Is it because it’s trendy with the whole “blow out bar” thing? Having curly hair, I get blow outs probably more than I should be allowed. I am slightly impaired when it comes to doing it myself. I do like DryBar where they charge $35 but find it slightly awkward that they recommend a $10 dollar tip. I am a good tipper regardless but its weird.
Lifestyle: I will soon style my first photo shoot! Stay tuned for the details.
Music: Frank Ocean ft. Tyler the Creator- She
Random: Wasabi Peas are my new obsession. I actually hate the taste of Wasabi but strangely enough, love them on peas. Where was this semi healthy snack all my life?
Maybe its the whole Easter thing but I just cannot have enough pastel colored pants lately. This obviously isn’t anything new considering color denim has been trending for a couple of years now. Not being a fan of color much, I am proud of myself.
